Our standard materials are
poplar, red oak, maple, and cherry. Other hardwoods such as
white maple, mahogany, and walnut are available on a limited
basis.
We install post to post and
over the post-stair systems in all wood or wood and decorative
wrought iron combinations. There are numerous styles of
newels (posts) and balusters (pickets) to choose from in both
wood and wrought iron.
Work may start in as little as
two weeks and may take anywhere form two days to two weeks for
completion.
We remove and dispose of your
existing stair system.
We do not provide nor recommend
a painter to finish your new stair. This is a homeowner
responsibility. you should finish your stair as soon as
possible after installation. The wood is final sanded by our
installers. Failure to finish the wood within three days
could void the material warranty.
Wood is a natural product and
will vary in color and grain. We make every effort to match
the wood, but you will have variations. A good painter is
the key to a beautifully finished stair.
Installation of a new stair is
a dirty process. While the majority of cutting will be done
outside, some cutting and final sanding must be done inside.
The homeowner is responsible for covering furniture and
electronic items, closing AC/heating vents and shut off the
AC/heat. Our installers will clean the immediate area around
the stairs of sawdust with a vacuum. Kastle Stair does not
provide a cleaning service. |
